Apple CEO Steve Jobs took his case against Flash software public, arguing that Adobe product is a flop on touchscreen iPad and iPhone."Flash was created during the PC (personal computer) era for PCs and mice," Jobs said in a long message posted at the Cupertino, California-based firm's website.<br>

The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex on Friday advanced further by over 55 points, completing its third monthly gains on sustained buying by funds.<br>The Sensex, which had gained 123 points in the previous session, rose further by 55.24 to 17,558.71.

Real estate industry hailed the concession announced by the government on service tax but said housing cost will still go up by about 2.5 pc.However, the developers were disappointed that their demand to exclude land cost while calculating the service tax was not met.

Tyre major Ceat Ltd today said its net profit declined by 66 per cent to Rs 15.33 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2010. Total income rose to Rs 780.73 crore for the quarter ended March 31, from Rs 588.79 crore in the same period last year.

HCL Infosystems today said its consolidated net profit rose by 3.44 per cent to Rs 60 crore for the quarter ended March 31. Net sales of the company declined to Rs 2,814.50 crore for the third quarter ended March 31, from Rs 2,990.63 crore in the same period last year.

"Including all our two wheelers, we are having a market share of six per cent (across the country) now. This year we are aiming to reach at least 10 per cent," India Yamaha Motor Zonal Business Head (South) Roy Kurian said.
